Free self-assessment instruments

How mature are the systems protecting your assets and your people?

Seven structured diagnostics, one architecture, now in two tiers. Start with a high-level Health Check, eighteen questions across the critical spine, for a fast Red/Amber/Green read, then step up to the full Maturity Assessment for a quantified score, an element-by-element profile, and immediate identification of critical exposures.

The Health Check runs in under 10 minutes; the full Maturity Assessment in about 14. Results display immediately; a complimentary Initial Assessment Report prepared by a VeriTek Assurance specialist follows by email.

Asset Integrity Management System

Is the equipment fit for service, and can your management system prove it?

The system-level diagnostic. Measures the maturity of your AIMS across governance, risk management, inspection, corrosion management, data, competency, and assurance, the framework on which every discipline below depends.

RBI Programme

Is your RBI a living integrity process, or a study on a shelf?

Built on VeriTek Assurance's implementation and sustainability framework: data foundation, damage mechanism assessment, monitoring locations, inspection effectiveness, integrity operating windows, and the evergreening loop that keeps risk results true.

Process Safety Management

Are your major accident hazards controlled by system, or by luck?

Measures PSM as a system, whichever regime you operate under: leadership and accountability, process safety information, hazard analysis, operating discipline, mechanical integrity, management of change, learning from events, and assurance.

Reliability & Asset Performance

Will it keep running, at the cost and risk you intend?

Measures whether availability is engineered or hoped for: criticality and hierarchy, failure-mode-based maintenance strategy, condition monitoring response, work management discipline, data integrity, defect elimination, and the lifecycle loop that keeps strategies evergreen.

Maintenance Management System

Is maintenance on your asset managed, or merely dispatched?

Measures the system that executes maintenance: governance and organisation, the work management cycle from gatekeeping through planning, scheduling, and close-out, turnaround gate control, contractors and materials, cost at asset level, and CMMS governance.

Pipeline Integrity Management System

Is your pipeline integrity a living management system, or a set of completed assessments?

Measures the system that keeps a pipeline safe: threat identification across all nine categories including interaction, integrity assessment method selection, defect assessment and remaining strength, anomaly response, operating discipline, and the evergreening loop that keeps the integrity basis true. Fluid and location agnostic, gas, liquid, and multiphase, onshore and subsea.

How it works

One architecture, seven lenses, two tiers.

VTA assessment architecture: seven specialist instruments feed one integrated maturity model, producing a maturity determination from Initial to Optimised and an improvement roadmap.

The instruments share a single design: the same five-point natural-language response scale, the same weighted scoring to a 0–100 composite, the same four maturity bands, and the same critical-flag logic that reports immediate exposures irrespective of the composite score. Results are directly comparable across instruments — a maturity picture of the whole landscape, built one diagnostic at a time.

Each instrument runs at two depths: a Health Check that screens the six critical-spine elements in under ten minutes and returns a Red/Amber/Green profile, and the full Maturity Assessment that scores all ten elements quantitatively. The Health Check is the recommended entry point; the Maturity Assessment is the benchmarking and audit-preparation tier.

01

Answer

Direct questions, one per screen, about current reality on your asset. Progress saves automatically; resume any time.

02

Score

A weighted composite from 0 to 100 places you in one of four maturity bands, with an element-by-element profile.

03

Flags

Critical exposure conditions report immediately and prominently — these warrant attention whatever your overall score.

04

Report

A VTA specialist prepares your complimentary Initial Assessment Report: prioritised findings and band-keyed recommendations.

All instruments are screening-level self-assessments. Results reflect the respondent's knowledge at the time of completion, are not verified against documentary or physical evidence, and do not constitute an audit, compliance assessment, fitness-for-service evaluation, or regulatory demonstration. Responses are submitted to VeriTek Assurance and handled in confidence; we do not share your details with third parties.
